Week 4

This week was interesting. After seeing such a increase in activity from week two to week three I was expecting to see a continued increase in  activity however there seemed to much less movement and generally fewer easily visible organisms in general. This was the first time I have seen this organism. It was moving some.

Week Three

On Friday October 22, 2010 1 Beta Food Pellet was inserted into the microaquarium.

"Atison's Betta Food" made by Ocean Nutrition, Aqua Pet Americas, 3528 West 500 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84104. Ingredients: Fish meal, wheat flower, soy meal, krill meal, minerals, vitamins and preservatives. Analysis: Crude Protein 36%; Crude fat 4.5%; Crude Fiber 3.5%; Moisture 8% and Ash 15%.

 This week there was much more activity than there had been. The organisms were all visible again, some harder to find this time, some were easier to find. They almost all had grown and were much more numerous in the aquarium.  

Week Two

The aquarium is going well. The plants seem to be doing fine. There was activity from organisms which was exciting to see. There were various things moving about. During this time rotifers, actinosphaeriums, annelids,midges,lacrymaria, and vorticella convallaria were seen.

1st week observation

This was the set up of the aquarium and all went well. I saw very few things moving about in it. Really the only thing that could easily be seen were the plants which I added.
